Meet Our Team

  • Trina Farr

    Trina Farr

I was always destined to be involved in construction projects in some shape or form. As the daughter of a builder/project manager, I grew up around building sites, scaffolding and diggers (before the much improved safety standards we now have) and always enjoyed the excitement of watching a project grow from planning stage through to completion.

I really enjoy the culture we have at Pacifecon. People are always top of mind, whether it’s our clients and business contacts, our colleagues, or friends and family. I love change and development and am always looking at ways to improve, however, none of that can be done without the right people and we are lucky at Pacifecon to have talent by the bucket-loads.

When not working or spending time with my family and friends, I’m a competitive waka ama paddler, often found paddling off Takapuna beach or on Lake Pupuke. I also try to squeeze in some time to do laps at the pool or gym workouts at AUT Millennium to help balance out my obsession with chocolate.

    My most favourite proverb:

He aha te mea nui o te ao?

What is the most important thing in the world?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

It is the people, it is the people, it is the people.

  • Kathy Henriques

    Kathy Henriques

I started working with Pacifecon in September of 2014 and started out as a Business Development Manager (BDM) before getting involved with management. I am now a team leader for BDMs, building key strategic relationships/partnerships, engaging with marketing for new initiatives. My favourite thing about working at Pacifecon is the fantastic people – we’re all passionate about what Pacifecon offers and how we empower our clients across a wide range of industries. I enjoy the wide-ranging conversations with diverse companies that have quite different offerings. I enjoy supporting the BDM team to develop.

I think the best feature of Pacifecon’s offerings is that we tailor it to suit each business so that they can target planned projects in their key sectors to influence decisions with owner/developers, gain specification, and/or engage with the builder once appointed. Take control over your pipeline by getting to the right people at the right time.

When I’m not working I enjoy walking our beautiful bush and beaches, kayaking, traveling in our campervan and enjoying our beautiful country. My greatest achievement would have to be raising two awesome girls to become strong, independent young women.

    Morning/afternoon drink choices?
Herbal tea in the morning – espresso in the afternoon when I start fading.

What’s one random fact about yourself?
I have been run over by a bus! And live to tell the tale – one dodgy foot with part of my heal missing but happy to be telling you about it.

    Soraya Rice

I started working with Pacifecon in October of 2017 and am an Account Manager. Pacifecon is an interesting journey because no two clients are alike, nor are the projects that they want to focus on. It is a role where you learn something new everyday – each day is a little different so it doesn’t get boring.

What I enjoy most about my role is helping people – it’s always very cool when you work with a client on a strategy and help them get there. The platform is so flexible, it can work in so many ways to achieve so many goals.

When I’m not working I enjoy travelling, painting and spending time with my friends and family. One day, I’d love to live in Europe for a period of time.

    Morning/afternoon drink choices?
    Coffee, iced coffee.

What’s one random fact about yourself?
I’m a New Yorker. You can take the girl out of NY, but you cannot take the NY out of the girl.

I guess it was inevitable that I would end up back in the construction industry. My father has been an architect within the NZ Construction business for over 40 years, which coming from a family of girls, it ended up being me as Dad’s little helper around the house! It can’t have been all that bad, as I ended up marrying a builder who consequently is now a Quantity Surveyor for a construction company within NZ.

I am loving being part of the Pacifecon team. Being able to engage in conversation with our clients but more importantly being there to help people navigate their way around the website, is what I enjoy the most. Everyday is different and the constant learning keeps you on your toes and makes you want to do better.

When not working, I am kept pretty busy, being a Mum of 2 kids, playing taxi service and coaching netball teams throughout the season. We love spending time in Matarangi, where we have built a holiday home which we share with family and friends as much as possible.

  • Nadine Liddell

    Nadine Liddell

My career background is in the Travel & Tourism and Automotive Industry. Two very diverse industries, however, both required training people and providing great customer service.

I really enjoy working with people, providing exceptional customer service and I find it rewarding, knowing I can make a difference to someone’s day to day job.

I’m very family orientated, so weekends are spent with my husband, daughter & extended family. I also like to keep active, so if I’m not at the gym I love getting outdoors with my family, especially for a good bushwalk.

Having a family of my own, I was looking for a company that offers a work life balance, a team-focused culture, and a product that I can not only sell with confidence but with passion. I think I’ve nailed it on the head with Pacifecon!

I started with the Pacifecon team in 2021, first working on the research team and then moving across to our account manager and sales support team. I love working with our clients – I have met some great positive people along the way – and also love the Pacifecon team.

When I’m not working, we live by the beach and I often feel like we are on holiday just popping down for a while. I also love spending time walking our dog along the beach or catching up with my friends for a coffee, a day adventure or a bit of shopping.

    Morning/afternoon drink of choice?
    Coffee in the morning.

    Do you have any pets?
Yes, our princesses name is Holly, she is a miniature schnauzer.

    Jane Prendergast

I’ve been working with Pacifecon since February 2017 as the Accounts Administrator. I really love the flexibility the role offers me and all of my friendly colleagues.

When I’m not working you’ll find me playing tennis, travelling, heading to the beach or going for a walk. A highlight for me would be completing the Milford track in challenging conditions.

To sail around the Greek Islands

    Morning/afternoon drink choices?
    Coffee, margaritas.
