New Zealand Construction Snapshot
In February 2023 Pacifecon conducted an industry-wide survey to gain a holistic view of the construction market within New Zealand. We had a strong response rate from a diverse range of stakeholders across a variety of sectors including architects, construction companies, and product manufacturers/suppliers. The key questions we asked were:
- What are your biggest challenges right now?
- What does your forward pipeline of work/sales look like?
- How does your pipeline compare to the same time last year?
- How have the recent weather events affected you?
We discovered that the biggest challenges facing the industry currently are inflation, rising costs, staffing and resources. Read about other trends we’re seeing and what others in the industry have to say today.
